In the gulf of Thailand you will find one off the best diving site's in Thailand the water is crystal clear  and that is the best place to dive .in this waters its fabulous to dive because off the plants and fish  that live there .In this area you will find about 25 reefs around the islands and on many off them you can dive with or with out a diving company.

The main rule off the dive instructors is to guide you true and to discover the beauty off the underwater world  and to teach you how to dive the save way . and even you can get a certificate . And the age of starting to get the certificate is around the age off 8 years .

Elephant riding 

elephants where very important a few hundred years ago .and in the parts off Thailand where  the machines cannot go the elephant is still used the same way like the people in Thailand did hundred year ago because off the deep forests and lots off river beds , for the elephant its no problem to walk in the deep forests  and true river beds .

Its  a real experience to ride on the back off an elephant true the backlands off Thailand , you can go to the  Mae Kok Elephant Camp located at a Karen Hill Tribe village on the Mae Kok river bank in Chiang Rai district. 

Tourists who like to explore the backlands from Thailand can go from the . Umphang Elephant camp is another such camp in a Karen village. In this hill tribe village they have around 40 elephants and urn there money for living by showing the tourists the beautiful places  In Sangkhla Buri, a district on the Thai-Burmese border in Kanchanaburi province, these  elephants are raised for working purposes and when the elephants are not working in the forests they are showing the tourists around  Sangkhla and by the Noi river.

Ayutthaya Elephant Camp is located at Khum Khun Paen next to Wat Mongkonbophit. Elephants here take visitors to view architectural sites and the island. At the Chiang Dao Elephant Camp, there are elephant shows by working animals hauling logs from the forest. Elephant riding is also available for rides along the Ping riverbank.

 

Jungle Trekking

In the 1970s  the backpackers were the pioneers of Thailand backlands Today a lot off tourists company's sell trips to Thailand for backpackers .A typical tour involves a group of six to ten trekkers, a guide and a cook. There will be overnight stays in hill-tribe villages and a hike of four, five, or even ten days. Most popularly originating from Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, these 2 to 6 day treks take visitors through forested mountains and high meadows in what are actually the lower extremities of Himalayan foothills. Major attractions are remote hill-tribe villages. Mountains surrounding Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai host seven major, once-itinerant hill-tribes of Tibeto-Burman origin: the Mao, Lisu, Lahu, Yao, Akha, Lawa and Karen; each with their own distinctive dialects, costumes, and customs.

 

Sightseeing

Visit the Royal Grand Palace, then explore the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, Thailand’s most sacred temple with the revered Emerald Buddha, and other key attractions such as the Coronation Throne Hall, Royal Reception Hall, Royal Funeral Hall, the Golden Chedi, and the Royal Pantheon.

Royal Grand Palace is the most important landmark in Bangkok, and are most frequently visited by foreign tourists as well as the local Thai people.  It is famous for its impressive architectures and buildings.  In the same compound, situated the Wat Phra Kaew which houses the most revered Emerald Buddha (Phra Kaew Morakot), carved from a single block of jade.
